Ecotourism
Eco-tourism is a fantastic way to explore many of our planet's landscapes while doing nature a favor.
Committing to tomorrow means acting today.
At Slow Village, nature is at the heart of our identity, making its preservation paramount. To minimize our impact, we have adopted a rigorous environmental approach, where every action counts. Whether it's managing natural resources, reducing waste or promoting biodiversity, we are committed to minimizing our ecological footprint through concrete actions and sustainable investments.
Our establishments are designed to offer an immersive experience while respecting local ecosystems. Today, 4 of our destinations are European Ecolabel certified. And this is just the beginning! In collaboration with environmental experts and committed partners, we are working towards certification for all our sites.
We work hard every day to ensure a sustainable future, both for our guests and for future generations. Diving into the heart of nature also means protecting it.
Our commitments focus on 4 major areas:
. Certification: obtain the European Ecolabel for each of our establishments by 2030.
- Sobriety: reducing our electricity consumption
. Transparency: provide an annual Group CSR report
- Action: developing an ESG (Environment, Social and Governance) strategy
The European Ecolabel is a certification recognized throughout the European Union, designed to promote products that respect the environment and human health. Based on 67 criteria divided into general management, water, energy, waste and services, it encourages positive practices for the environment and society. The label is issued by a third-party organization, AFNOR CERTIFICATION.
