For total immersion in the slow-motion atmosphere, take the famous Sentier des Douaniers. This famous path runs along the coast, revealing traditional fisheries, cliffs and magnificent ocean views with every step.

The legend of the spring that gave it its name. Pornic's Plage de la Source owes its name to a ferruginous spring, the Source de Malmy, which still flows today. In the 19th century, people came here to take therapeutic baths, launching the fashion for sea bathing in Pornic. This success led to the construction of the former Casino de Gourmalon, with its superb view over the beach. Today, this legacy lives on in the Pornic thalasso center which has taken its place, an ideal location for treatments close to the Source beach.
