We had a wonderful stay at Slow Village. The pool and the Slow Café provided us with some truly relaxing moments, and the many activities on offer added a pleasant rhythm to our week: a fun open-air dance party, brunch, and a family yoga session—all of which we really enjoyed. A special mention goes to the storytelling and picnic event, which our children especially loved. Thank you to Michelle for these wonderful moments! The only minor downside—which was beyond the village’s control—was the noise from the campground across the street, which sometimes disrupted our peace and quiet in the evenings. Despite this, we’ll have very fond memories of our stay and would gladly recommend Slow Village for a fun family getaway.

We really enjoyed the facilities at Slow Village—the restaurants, entertainment, and sports facilities. The only downside for us was the quality of the accommodations compared to the rest. The quality of the bed could be improved.

We’ve been coming to this vacation village for about 21 years—that’s 14 years of 2-week or 1-week stays since our kids grew up: VVF, Belhambra, and Slow Village. We love the setting, the peace and quiet, the proximity to St. Martin, the pool, and being able to rent bikes on-site. We do regret the lack of activities for adults—Zumba, stretching, and aqua aerobics, which used to be great… The mini-market was also handy… What we don’t understand is the huge price hike since Slow Village took over. Nothing has changed about the cottages—or very little… just a few upgrades… 🤔 The addition of a mini-farm? All that for 3 goats and 2 sheep… bahhh… I’m not going all the way to Ré for that 🤷🏻‍♀️… the price doesn’t match the services offered, and we travel a lot in France and abroad… As for the 120-euro cleaning fee… for 25 m², let’s not even go there….
