Perfect accommodation (functional, spacious, comfortable bedding...) We appreciated the quietness of the campsite. Accustomed in previous years to the high quality of the children's activities, we were disappointed this year: lack of punctuality, lack of respect for schedules and poorly prepared activities. Not much on offer for teenagers, lack of aquatic activities...). As for the swimming pool, we were disappointed to see that the straw huts were in poor condition and useless.... and that there was a cruel lack of shade. Finally, we regretted that, in the evening, as in previous years, there were no catering options (mussels, paella, chicken, etc.).

Pleasant stay, well-located cottage. Swimming pool ideal for children. Restaurant prices a little high and air conditioning is lacking, especially in hot weather.

Beautiful site with family-friendly features. Privacy is reduced because the units are so close together. I caught a family getting into their car while I was opening my window, naked as a worm, coming out of my shower a few steps away from them. It was hot, and more mosquito netting would have been necessary, as there are a lot of insects. The only mosquito net in the children's bedroom wasn't enough. The dishwasher was loaded with hard water and left a residue, making it a nuisance in fact, so to be avoided. The units were beautiful, clean, well appointed and fairly well equipped. The availability of washing machines was appreciated. More umbrellas could have been provided around the pools. Registration for children's activities should be possible via the app. Very friendly and welcoming staff. We look forward to returning.

First vacation at Slow Village Marennes Oléron and we're delighted. We stayed for a week with our grandson, who really enjoyed the mini-farm, swimming pool and games. The floral setting is very pretty, and the bar/restaurant by the pool offers a zen-like atmosphere, perfect for relaxation. We ate there several times and the food was excellent. The staff were always very welcoming, charming and considerate throughout our stay, so a big thank you to them.

We're kid-friendly!

Your children are welcome in our Slow Club during the high season (July/August). We've prepared activities for all ages, close to nature, so they can have fun and you can relax.

Coming with a baby? Don't be overwhelmed! We have baby kits available on reservation. (subject to availability)

Come and treat yourself at Casaoma! Our poolside restaurant awaits you for gourmet breaks. Opening times vary according to the season, so we'll be happy to give you all the details!

Feeling more like chilling out? We look forward to seeing you at the beachside Guinguette! (July/August)

To reach us at Slow Village Marennes Oléron, you can come by car! Each cottage has its own parking space.

Our open-air hotel is located 50 minutes from the La Rochelle TGV station, so you can also take the train. For the more courageous, the Vélodyssée passes through Marennes, so we're waiting for you with your bikes 🙂
