From Les Ponts-de-Cé, you can get there by car in 15 to 20 minutes by driving up to the D523, which runs alongside the Maine River, and then crossing the river by the first bridge to reach the large Lac de Maine parking lot.
By bike, you can also head north, but avoid the main roads: the Maine is crossed by the next bridge, located opposite the Château d'Angers: a pleasant 30-minute stroll to discover the city's heritage.
From downtown Angers, Lac de Maine is easily reached on foot or by bike through the pleasant Parc de Balzac. From the château, it's less than 10 minutes by bike and 30 minutes on foot.
